GOBOKII is one of the new generation of antique shops breathing new life into Dapsimni, run by Kim Seong-ho and Kim Ji-eun, a couple who share a passion for antique furniture. Here, antique furniture from the Joseon Dynasty coexists naturally with mid-century modern pieces, demonstrating the potential for antiques to be fully integrated into contemporary spaces. Owner Kim Ji-eun says the charm lies in the fact that these old objects have remained with us after passing through the hands of multiple generations.
